Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Applied

Once we've received your application, a member of our hiring team will review it.

If you are a potential match for this role and meet the entry criteria for the apprenticeship, you will be invited to move forward to the next stage.
Stage 2

Maths and Verbal Reasoning Quiz (30 mins)

To ensure you meet the relevant aptitude for this role, the employer requires you to pass an elementary Maths & Verbal Reasoning Test.

This is timed quiz which allows you to use a calculator and you will see a countdown timer in the corner.

You must undertake this quiz alone without help from anyone else.

On average you have 30 seconds per question. You should move on as quickly as you can with the easier questions, so that you have more time to spend on others where additional seconds may be valuable.

There are no trick questions.

Good Luck!

Stage 3

Video Interview

Upon successful completion of the Maths & Verbal Reasoning Quiz, applicants will be invited to take part in a short a video interview.

This is a really great way for us to get to know more about you as a person. Things that we cannot see in detail from a CV and for you to showcase your personality and talk about some of the things that matter to you.

The video is set with a series of simple questions for you to answer. You have the opportunity to rehearse and practice and you can re-record the answer to find the one you're most happy with before submission.
Stage 4

Telephone Chat

Shortlisted video applicants will be invited to have a chat with our Hiring Manager to ask any questions they may still have and for us to create the final shortlist of applicants for the Digital Assessment Centre.
Stage 5

Shortlist to Digital Assessment Centre (30 mins)

Digital Assessments are a fun, convenient and professional way for applicants to meet the employer and ultimately win a place on these sought after Apprenticeship Programmes.

You will have a slot of around 30 minutes, where the employer will get to meet you and ask you questions about you and your application.  This will be conducted digitally 'online' through a Zoom or Teams style meeting.

Your session will include a short customer service role play exercise (5 minutes), where you will be handling a 'customer situation' and showing the employer your style of resolving issues.

You will also have the opportunity to ask the employer any questions you may have because it is as important for you to be sure this is the right job and employer for you.
Stage 6

Final Onsite Meeting

If you are shortlisted from the Assessment Day, you will be invited to meet the employer in person at your potential future place of work.

This will give you a chance to look around the business and meet the people and teams you will be working with.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask any remaining questions you may have at this point.
Stage 7

Hired

Final decisions and offers will be made within a few days of final on site meetings.

Start dates will be in March 2022 depending on notice period.
